Welcome to Artemis' Palimpsest - a sacred space for seekers, navigating the moonlit path. This work is inspired by the designer's personal communion with the lunar archetype of Artemis - not solely the mythological goddess of antiquity - but a living presence encountered through lucid dreaming, astral journeys, and deep unconscious exploration.
The tools available in our store emerged from that dialogue: messages and methods for divination, introspection, and reclamation. Every offering is crafted through a queer-inclusive, trauma-informed lens and honours the divine masculine, feminine and all the liminal places in between. This is a space where healing isn't linear, but luminous. Divine what can't be seen by day, and behold - with new perspective - that which stalked in the night.
The meta-writing tool of our forebears
In ancient times, a palimpsest was a manuscript that had been scraped clean and written over—yet traces of the original text often lingered beneath the surface. This layering of thought over thought, story over story, is as old as memory itself.
This website and the various tools available within our store take their name from this tradition.
Here, the website itself is the palimpsest—a digital space for ongoing transformation. Every seeker who arrives leaves a mark: through questions, reflections, or quiet presence. The layers build. Nothing is truly erased; each contribution becomes part of a living, evolving whole. This space invites you to write, re-write, and trace your own path of becoming, in dialogue with others drawn to Artemis' moonlit path.
Our Focus
You may have noticed that the version of Artemis presented in this work is masculine-presenting. This is by design—not a flippant aesthetic choice for engagement or likes. Here, Artemis represents the whole and divine masculine—one who has integrated and honoured his natural, inborn femininity (his anima) alongside his masculinity (animus).
True integration requires men to embrace qualities often devalued in patriarchal culture: receptivity, intuition, creativity, and emotional depth. These are not “feminine traits” to suppress, but essential aspects of a fully expressed self—one who no longer self-edits in order to be acceptable.
As such, much of the language and imagery throughout this space is masculine-presenting and consciously geared toward men—particularly those for whom traditional, alpha-driven coaching and self-help models ring false. Gay, trans, bi+, and queer men (and anyone who identifies with the masculine in a way that feels fluid, sacred, or complex) are especially welcome here.
